How Electronic Cigarettes Work?
The user puts one end of the cartridge in his or her mouth while on the other end, there is a red LED light that glows when the individual smokes. There is a pressure-activated switch to turn on a small heating element which produces smoke-like vapor when a person draws in. This is the same smoke that is used in concerts, theatres and nightclubs for special effects.
This device has a sensor that detects the air flow through the tube when the user inhales. The heating device in the e-cigarette gets activated once the sensor identifies the air flow, starting to vaporize the nicotine solution in the mouthpiece. The user inhales this vapor which imitates the sensation of smoking regular cigarettes, while keeping the user completely free from the health risks that can result from smoking tobacco. There is also an LED light placed at the opposite end of the e-cigarette which is activated during inhalation, resembling the way the burning end of a cigarette glows when smoked.
The vapor produced by electronic cigarettes may contain nicotine. The user can regulate the amount of nicotine contained by the e-cigarette. It is available in various flavors including tobacco, mint, chocolate and apple. One can even avail the flavor of his or her favorite cigarette brand.
Nicotine in Electronic Cigarettes
The nicotine doses contained by the electronic cigarettes are graded in high, medium, low and zero nicotine. The cartridges with high strength nicotine contain the same amount of nicotine as a regular cigarette. This cartridge is not generally recommended as it may pose several threats to the health of the user.
